We are a dynamic, fast-paced, distributed development team that is responsible for delivering all of Browsium’s products worldwide. We build products like Browsium Ion – a product that allows remediation of legacy web applications for enterprise customers who are upgrading to future versions of Windows and Internet Explorer and Browsium Catalyst – a multi-browser management utility that empowers IT to control which browser opens each site on every PC. We are looking for exceptionally talented, highly motivated software test engineers to help us deliver on our vision!

The primary responsibility is to help ensure high quality releases of our systems and services by applying testing best-practices and automation techniques to achieve exhaustive code path coverage. Additional responsibilities include participation in all phases of the software development life cycle including developing and driving test specifications, test cases, and test automation suites as well as reporting, tracking, and verifying the resolution of system anomalies.

Required Qualifications:

  • a solid background in software development in a quality assurance role
  • 2 or more years of experience contributing to shipping products
  • detailed understanding of software testing methodology
  • experience testing web applications and developing testing automation
  • strong test case design skills
  • strong customer focus

Preferred:

  • BS or MS in computer science or related engineering field
  • C++, C# and .NET experience
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer experience
  • fluency in the Microsoft development tool set (Visual Studio 2010+)
  • a detailed understanding of web application architecture
